New courses have been confirmed for the Surf Rescue Certificate and Bronze Medallion
The Surf Rescue Certificate course provides participants with skills and knowledge of surf awareness, aquatic rescue operations and resuscitation to participate in lifesaving operations and act in the role of water safety personnel.
The Bronze Medallion provides participants with patrolling and surf awareness knowledge, enabling participation in lifesaving patrolling operations.
We are also running a course for the Silver Medallion Patrol Captain award. This aims to equip members with the skills and knowledge required to confidently manage a beach and run patrols as a Surf Life Saving Patrol Captain, especially under different and challenging situations.
